3. Our Services
Nottingham Surveyors provides property surveying, valuation, and related services in accordance with RICS professional standards and guidelines. Our services include, but are not limited to:

All surveying services are governed by a separate client engagement letter and terms of engagement, which are provided to you before any instruction is confirmed. In the event of any conflict between these website terms and our terms of engagement, the terms of engagement shall take precedence.
4. Quotations & Fees
All quotations provided through our website contact forms or by telephone are indicative only and are subject to confirmation following assessment of the specific property. A formal fee proposal will be issued before any survey commences.
Our fees are based on property type, size, age, value, and survey level required. Payment terms are set out in the client engagement letter issued for each instruction.
We reserve the right to amend our fee schedule at any time. Any fee changes will not affect confirmed instructions.
5. Survey Reports
Survey reports are prepared for the sole use of the named client and the specific property referenced in the report. Reports must not be relied upon by any third party. Any third party who does rely on a report does so at their own risk.
Our target turnaround time for survey reports is 48 hours from the date of inspection, subject to complexity and the surveyor's workload. Whilst we aim to meet this target, it is not a contractual guarantee.
Survey reports are provided in digital format (PDF) via email. Physical copies can be requested at an additional cost.
Survey reports reflect the condition of a property at the time of inspection only. We accept no responsibility for changes in condition occurring after the date of inspection.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Nottingham Surveyors or its content suppliers and is protected by English and international copyright laws.
You are permitted to view and print pages from our website for your personal, non-commercial use only. You must not:

Survey reports prepared by Nottingham Surveyors remain the intellectual property of Nottingham Surveyors. A licence to use the report for the specific transaction for which it was commissioned is granted to the named client only.

Our liability in relation to surveying services is set out in our individual client engagement letters and terms of engagement. We carry professional indemnity insurance in accordance with RICS mandatory requirements.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we exclude all liability for:
- Loss of profits, revenue, or business
- Loss of data or information
- Indirect, special, or consequential loss arising from website use
- Any loss caused by viruses, distributed denial-of-service attacks, or other technologically harmful material that may affect your computer or data
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be legally excluded or limited.

We aim to provide an excellent service at all times. If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our service, please contact us in the first instance through our contact page and we will endeavour to resolve your complaint promptly.
As a RICS-regulated firm, we maintain a formal complaints handling procedure in line with RICS requirements. If we are unable to resolve your complaint to your satisfaction, you have the right to refer the matter to the RICS Dispute Resolution Service. 10. Governing Law
These terms and conditions, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them (including non-contractual disputes or claims), shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
You and we both agree that the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction over any such dispute or claim, except that we retain the right to bring proceedings against you for breach of these terms in your country of residence or any other relevant country.
These terms were last updated in April 2025. We reserve the right to amend these terms at any time. Continued use of our website following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the amended terms.
